More info

Color of Casara Roveri Merlot is intense ruby red; aroma is varietal (typically Merlot): blueberries and floral, with a delicate vanilla note. Taste is soft and velvety, rich in sweet and elegant tannin.

The vines are located in Alonte (VI), at the heart of the classic Berici hills D.O.C. area.

Grapes are simultaneously de-stemmed and pressed, then  the must rests on the skins in 50hl tuns for 12 days.  The tuns are open and wine is fulled 6 times per day

Food match
