Soil: moraine, with a mixture of calcareous clays, rich in mineral salts

Branches per hectare 5800 n/ha

Harvesting time: mid-end september

Harvesting method: two runs of hand-picking in flat box, from young grapevines.

Winemaking: in stainless steel

Ageing: in stainless steel for seven months, the first six being on fine lees

Alcohol content: 12,0% - 12,5%

Lugana DOC Sorgente is ideal as an aperitive: fresh and drinkable, its aroma is explosive. Colour is pale straw yellow, with distinct green hues.
In the nose it develops a good intensity, showing evident and pleasing grapefruit and sour strawberry notes, and a graphite-like scent. In the mouth it is dry and gently balanced, while keeping a particular freshness.
